Virtual LP: Tin and Crumbs

Here’s a new addition to the Virtual LP, written and recorded this morning. It’s a true story, almost. “No incantations will bring back the pie” indeed.
I should probably be clear that I’m not really that upset about the missing piece of pumpkin pie. I mean, I like pumpkin pie. But mostly I just wanted to see if I could write the world’s angriest song about a missing slice. Sort of like, what would happen if you took the last piece of pumpkin pie from Dick Cheney, and he started to sing about it….

Funny, I imagine that if you took the last piece of pumpkin pie from Dick Cheney, he would sound a lot like Peter Boyle as the Monster. Maybe it’s just me.
Anyway, this is very nice. Somewhat Costello-ish.

very nice, but it’s a reflection of your true soul that you don’t sound that angry. just not in you. which is a good thing, unless you are a repub, and then fox news sponsors training. they even have a center, in hell!!! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha (evil laugh).
i used to eat a tremendous amount of pumpkin pie, circa 1990.
