The Heartbreak of Thunderwear

I woke up this morning with a new million-dollar idea: “Thunderwear.” I don’t even think I need to explain to the readers of this blog what a product called Thunderwear might be, right? I mean, seriously. You can’t help but make a million dollars with an idea like that.
So anyways, I amble on over to the gaping maw through which the Internet pours into my house and I start up the Google.
I’m asking you, what kind of world do we live in where the trademark for “Thunderwear” has already been used to describe “Gun holsters and Glock gun holsters for gun concealment”?
I don’t care what they say, I won’t live in a world where “Thunderwear” describes “Gun holsters and Glock gun holsters for gun concealment.”

Someone just beat you to the idea.
    “SmartCarry” is a similar product.

cec, you don’t need a trademark or fancy marketing to get the word out on your thunder…
are we talking about the same thing?
thunder, like how your site is a portent for a white lightning of wisdom of wonder. thunder, lightning. bring the rain. you know?!
i’m not talking about your infamous g’town moment.

I should probably explain lest there be confusion — my million dollar idea for Thunderwear would probably be sold in the same catalog as whoopie cushions.
In fact, it would probably be sold on the same page as whoopie cushions.
In fact, the slogan would probably be “Finally! A whoopie cushion you can wear!”

    how strange is this–
the warriors’ mascot is thunder, no?
and surely he is already sporting the thunderwear!
i mean the mythic thunderwear of your dreams not the holster….although, hmmm, million-dollar story idea taking shape here: it’s a manchurian-candidate-meets-flubber sort of thing, the warriors having their best season ever, thunder popular beyond his wildest dreams….

I’m not sure what world you’re planning to live in, but I’d be careful how I approached the Thunderwear(tm) people. They’re quite likely to have concealed weapons.

Sorry to report that Thunderpants has also been snapped up by an AU purveyor of fashion underwear, BUT a TM search of Thunder-Garments (!) hit pay-dirt. Exclamation optional. Ok, Thunder-Garments lacks a certain punch. Perhaps: Thunder-Garments, they’re what’s for lunch!” Now, that you can sell.

Thunder-Garments! We’re all going to be rich! Rich I tell you!
